Healthcare Information. Circle of Care International helps educate patients and their families on public and private services available in the healthcare sector; for example, understanding how medical insurance works, what it covers and for how long, and the process for filing for securing long term benefits.Healthcare Placement. With our network of experienced personal caregivers and care agencies, we can assess client needs and provide private care in their homes or a residential care facility. Residential Care Homes (Board and Care). Residential Care homes provide non-medical custodial care either in a single-family residence, a retirement residence or in any appropriate care facility including a nursing home. Most private residential care homes are licensed for six or fewer residents housed in a private residential home setting. However, there are retirement complexes or specialty facilities which have been built to care to care for more than six residents. These are often called Assisted Living Facilities. |
Retirement Housing. Retirement housing facilities offer services for both independent patients and those who require care. Some facilities have separate sections geared to Assisted Living residents, while others offer no segregation of those who need care and those who don't.
Home Care. This program caters primarily to patients who wish to obtain care services in their own homes. This service helps each patient maintain a familiar lifestyle in the comfort of his or her own home. A 24-hour live-in and/or hourly care including personal assistance, meal preparation, and housekeeping is usually provided. Nursing Home. Most nursing homes cater to services involving managing various medical problems. Such homes offer both short and long term care options for those with serious problems and disabilities, or others who are bedridden and require specialized care. Some nursing home facilities also provide a number of rehabilitation services on a short-term basis after a hospitalization for injury or illness. |
